Tasweer Photo Festival Qatar 2025 is proud to collaborate with Words & Strings to present a special Spoken Poetry & Music Night at the Fire Station Cinema—an evening dedicated to live performances that blend the power of words, rhythm, and voice.
This unique event draws inspiration from Tasweer’s exhibition As I Lay Between Two Seas, which explores themes of belonging, exile, identity, and home. Through spoken word and live music, the evening offers an intimate and reflective space for artists and audiences alike to engage with the emotional and political landscapes that shape our experiences of place and self.
A curated line-up of poets and musicians will take to the stage to share performances thematically connected to the festival’s core ideas of exile, identity, and resilience—offering a rich, cross-disciplinary experience that expands Tasweer’s storytelling beyond photography.
