Qatar National Day Special: ‘Sunset Photowalk at Zubarah Archaeological Site’ with Asmaa Al Abdulla
About Asmaa Al Abdulla
An internationally certified photographer and trainer in the field of photography and life skills. She holds a bachelor’s degree in media. She is the first Qatari photographer to work for the Asian Football Confederation to cover the 2024 Asian Cup. She covered the 2022 Cup with the Qatar News Agency. She holds a gold medal for the State of Qatar. In the Austria International Photography Competition 2022 in the sports axis.
About the Photowalk:
The guided tour will show photographers the most stunning spots amongst the ruins, while learning about the rich history of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Following the photowalk, photographers are invited to submit their best pictures to Wiki Loves Monuments 2025 to promote Qatar’s archaeological sites worldwide. As a special participants are also asked to submit their photographs for selection, for a chance to be showcased on Tasweer's digital platforms during the upcoming Qatar National Day Celebrations.
Please note: The photowalk is open to photographers from all skill levels. Please bring your own camera, tripod and tools. All participants must wear comfortable, closed footwear (no sandals) and are recommended to bring protection for sun and wind.
To promote sustainability, please bring a reusable water bottle.
