Round table discussion at Fire Station Museum

This roundtable discussion focuses upon the exciting models for photography festivals, cultural spaces and community programmes that are currently being created across the globe. As Tasweer forges its identity and intentions as a photography-focused entity in Qatar, we invite you to join this discussion and give your perspective upon the roles and responsibilities Tasweer can strive for and attain.

Please register on the form and come to the main entrance of the Fire Station Museum by giving your name at 6 pm for the roundtable discussion. This 90-minute conversation will be chaired by Tasweer’s Artistic Director, Charlotte Cotton and we will be making an audio recording for Tasweer’s archive and not for public distribution or publication.  In June, we will email you a summary of the main points that were discussed in this – and the other – roundtable conversations taking place during the closing events of Tasweer 2023.  Everyone is welcome to join us and participate in these unique events. Refreshments will be provided. Parking is free and available at Doha Fire Station, with no other event on the same date and time.
